What a great XC day – belting climbs and a cloud-base to near 6k! One of those rare days when the weather models didn’t like the look of it above the Mynd, but we did! The “committee” task of BID-NPT-BC3 (325km) was about perfect. Six gliders set off; Dave Rance (TL); Dave Crowson (154); Jon and Paul (KA); Darce (288); Bob and Ingram from Lasham (keeping out of the way of the Euros!) in their DG1000 and me (445) – and six gliders returned. Julian was a late arrival but still completed BID O/R with Mark Williams.
